Product introduction:The arch wire former consists of handle, rotary needle, cylinder seat and grooved wheel. The square wire groove has two forms of torque and no torque. Mainly used to correct the arch wire into the shape of the primary dental arch.

Scope of application: the arch wire former is used to curved the square wire placed in the grooves to form the shape of the first dental arch in the dental orthodontic treatment.

Performance of arch wire former:

1. The surface of the dental arch turret is smooth, round, no speckles,no pits and other defects.
2. The calibration of the arch turret should be clear, no broken, less defects.
3. Flexible rotation between handle and shaft, tight and loose.
4. Slots marked indicating wire gauge .016 , 017 , 018 , 019, 022

Method of operation:

1. Place the square wire in the slot and press the inner needle into the middle of the square wire.
2. The thumb pressed the square wire.
3. Right hand rotating clockwise and press needle.
4. Press needle back to original place, replace index finger with square wire
5. When the right hand returns, rotate the needle to make the bow symmetrical.
