Cleaning and maintenance:the dental handpiece should be cleaned and disinfected immediately after each use
- Remove the dental handpiece from air motor and take out the diamond bur
- Brush the surface of dental handpiece and diamond bur with a soft brush, then dip it in alcohol with gauze or cotton ball to wash the dental handpiece and air motor.
- Wipe the dental handpiece and air motor up and down with gauze or paper towels
Note:
Don't put the dental handpiece or motor in an ultrasonic cleaner or water for cleaning
Before each use, all tools must be carefully checked to see if the accessories are compatible and whether they are working properly.
In the process of using dental handpiece, we should pay attention to the safety of patients.
